Brain Phillips and Alex Wells

Brian Phillips and Alex Wells have been involved in the international physical grain trade for 20 years and now managecommodity investments from their offices in Geneva, Switzerland. Brian started with Continental Grain, Chicago and then became export trading manager for Tradigrain in Memphis, before moving to Geneva Switzerland as head of the world feedgrains desk, teaming with Alex who was handling the world oilseeds and oil desk.Alex workedas a grain trader/analyst in Argentina before coming toGeneva. They maintain regular contact with international consumers, farmers and importers from their independent platform in Geneva. Brian has been associated with SMS for the last 3years, and a regular speaker at seminars.They bothlive in the Geneva area with their families.
